Virgin Voyages Debuts Brilliant Lady Cruise Ship

Virgin Voyages has officially launched its fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, with a maiden voyage from New York on September 5, 2025. The vessel is inspired by the energy and character of its new itineraries, blending New York’s dynamism, Miami’s Latin passion, Los Angeles’ glamour, and Alaska’s adventurous spirit.

The ship’s design focuses on fostering connection and discovery, with spaces crafted to spark conversation and encourage shared experiences. At the heart of the vessel is The Roundabout, a central gathering space with jewel-toned seating, warm wood accents, and an illuminated compass paying homage to Alaska’s twilight skies.

Social spaces are reimagined throughout. The Draught Haus has expanded from its craft beer roots into an all-day hub serving coffee, cocktails, wine, and bubbles. The Athletic Club now features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall at the stern, offering uninterrupted views of glaciers, whales, and the Northern Lights. Circular daybeds and fuchsia accents create a vibrant, communal atmosphere.

Dining also embraces cultural connection. Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, inspired by Spain, features terracotta and crimson interiors, tapas-style dishes, and intimate lounge seating designed for long, shared meals. Even the Sea Terrace balconies now include two hammock chairs, encouraging guests to enjoy the views together.

Brilliant Lady will sail itineraries that highlight Alaska’s natural wonders, from Glacier Bay’s serene landscapes to Juneau’s lively culture. Virgin Voyages says the ship reflects its philosophy that travel should be social, joyful, and designed for meaningful human connection.
