Princess Adds Ports to 2026-27 Med Cruises

Princess Cruises has unveiled updated itineraries for its Sun Princess Western Mediterranean program, adding new destinations and experiences to select sailings between April 4, 2026, and October 17, 2027.
The enhanced voyages will feature calls at Palma de Mallorca in Spain, Ajaccio in Corsica, and an overnight stay in La Spezia, Italy. The overnight port gives travelers two full days to explore Tuscany, including Florence, Pisa, and the surrounding countryside. In exchange for these new highlights, Gibraltar will no longer be included on the revised itineraries.
Sun Princess’ Western Mediterranean voyages will now sail from Barcelona and conclude in Civitavecchia (Rome). Along the way, guests can explore Corsica, the birthplace of Napoleon, and Genoa, a gateway to Cinque Terre. In Marseille, passengers can immerse themselves in the beauty of Provence, while additional ports may include Ibiza, Santa Margherita, and Portofino.
These updated sailings on Princess’ newest ship are designed to deepen cultural immersion with more diverse destinations and extended time ashore. Whether strolling through the vibrant streets of Mallorca, enjoying Corsica’s coastal charm, or spending extra time in Tuscany, the new program gives travelers expanded opportunities to experience the region’s rich history, landscapes, and cuisine.
By refining the Sun Princess’ 2026-27 season, Princess Cruises continues to enhance its Mediterranean offerings, combining iconic cities with hidden gems to create itineraries that appeal to both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers.
