Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced plans for the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride, marking the first new five-star development in Telluride, Colorado, in 15 years. The project is being developed in collaboration with Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures, two firms known for their expertise in luxury hospitality and real estate.

The highly anticipated resort will span three connected buildings, blending seamlessly into the rugged natural beauty of the San Juan Mountains. The property will feature 52 guest rooms, 43 hotel residences, and 26 private residences, offering two-to-five-bedroom layouts. Designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and natural materials, the architecture emphasizes panoramic views and a deep connection to the surrounding alpine landscape.

Private residences, ranging from 2,064 to 6,455 square feet, will be delivered unfurnished, allowing owners to personalize their interiors and create unique mountain retreats.

The resort’s amenities will include two world-class restaurants, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a spa featuring a thermal lounge, cold plunge pool, and eight treatment rooms. Additional wellness offerings include a lap pool, an outdoor hot tub, and relaxation spaces designed for both residents and guests.

Four Seasons residents will enjoy exclusive benefits such as a ski valet, private lounge access, and personalized services from the dedicated Four Seasons residential team. Guests and owners alike will have ski-in/ski-out access thanks to the property’s prime location adjacent to the gondola connecting Telluride and Mountain Village, as well as the Telluride Ski Resort.

“We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for guests and residents alike to enjoy one of America’s most iconic ski destinations with Four Seasons,” said Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Residential for Four Seasons. “Our partners, Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures, share our passion for exceptional design, world-class service, and timeless experiences.”

Nadim Ashi, Founder of Fort Partners, emphasized the project’s significance: “Telluride is a place of extraordinary heritage and natural beauty. Together with Four Seasons and Merrimac, we are creating a new landmark that reflects this legacy and will endure for generations.”

Dev Motwani, President and CEO of Merrimac Ventures, added, “After more than seven years of dedication to this project, we’re thrilled to reach this milestone. This partnership brings a world-class resort experience to one of Colorado’s most remarkable destinations.”
