Kelis to Headline Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady in Miami
Virgin Voyages’ newest ship, Brilliant Lady, is preparing for her highly anticipated “MerMaiden” voyage from Miami, and the celebration will be headlined by Grammy-nominated artist and culinary creator Kelis.
After debuting in New York last month, Brilliant Lady will arrive in Miami on October 17 to kick off her Caribbean season. The inaugural eight-night sailing will include stops in Tortola, St. Maarten, and Virgin Voyages’ signature Beach Club at Bimini—along with an exclusive live performance by Kelis on the ship’s pool deck.
Famed for hits like “Milkshake” and “Bossy,” Kelis will bring her dynamic stage presence to sea for the special voyage. Beyond music, she will also showcase her culinary side—having trained at Le Cordon Bleu—by debuting a new Kelis Sundae at The Wake, one of the line’s signature dining venues.

To honor Miami’s vibrant nightlife, Brilliant Lady will also feature a bespoke speakeasy experience inspired by the city’s iconic cocktail culture. The curated bar program will include collaborations with local favorites such as The Sylvester, Bar Kaiju, Swizzle, and Better Days, offering Sailors a taste of Miami’s energetic spirit while onboard.
