MSC Seascape Prepares for Grand Arrival in Galveston

MSC Cruises is counting down the days to the arrival of MSC Seascape in Galveston, Texas, where the ship will launch year-round sailings to the Western Caribbean beginning November 7. The highly anticipated debut marks MSC’s first full-time deployment in Texas, expanding the cruise line’s footprint in the U.S. market.
Departing every Sunday, MSC Seascape will offer seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries featuring stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, as well as Isla de Roatán, Honduras. The ship will sail from Galveston’s brand-new, state-of-the-art cruise terminal, opening in conjunction with Seascape’s arrival.
Designed with a Texas twist, MSC Seascape will introduce new entertainment and culinary offerings inspired by Southern, Texan, and Gulf Coast traditions. Guests can look forward to performances by The Lone Star resident country band, lively dueling piano shows, line dancing classes, and a spirited Big Texas Sailaway Party. Dining highlights will include regional flavors and specialty dishes celebrating the state’s diverse culinary scene.
Families will find plenty of fun aboard as well, with over 7,500 square feet of dedicated kids’ space and exclusive activities such as a LEGO parade, LEGO Family Game Show, MasterChef at Sea Juniors, and the Guinness World Record Family Quiz. The Doremix Family Disco will keep young cruisers dancing into the evening.
For those seeking a more private and luxurious experience, MSC Seascape features one of the largest MSC Yacht Clubs in the fleet—an exclusive “ship-within-a-ship” sanctuary. Yacht Club guests enjoy priority boarding, 24/7 butler and concierge service, a private restaurant, lounge, bar and grill, and an exclusive sun deck and pool area.
“The arrival of MSC Seascape in Galveston represents a major milestone for MSC Cruises in North America,” the company noted, emphasizing its commitment to offering guests a blend of European sophistication with Texas hospitality.
With its unique mix of family-friendly attractions, upscale experiences, and Texas-inspired touches, MSC Seascape is set to make waves as the newest year-round homeport ship in Galveston’s growing cruise lineup.
