MSC Opens 2027 Alaska Bookings for Upgraded MSC Poesia
MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its summer 2027 Alaska season, offering travelers the chance to experience the Last Frontier aboard the newly enhanced MSC Poesia. The season begins on April 26, 2027, with seven-night itineraries departing every Monday from Seattle through September.
Before returning to Alaska, MSC Poesia will undergo a major renovation that elevates the ship to meet MSC’s modern luxury standards. The upgrades include the addition of the exclusive MSC Yacht Club—the line’s signature “ship-within-a-ship” luxury concept—two new specialty restaurants, and a vibrant new sports bar. Guests can also look forward to a refreshed MSC Aurea Spa and an upgraded MSC Gym Powered by Technogym. These enhancements will debut in May 2026, aligning with the launch of MSC Cruises’ inaugural Alaska season.
The 2027 itineraries will showcase some of Alaska’s most breathtaking destinations, including Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Victoria, B.C. Each voyage offers guests opportunities to experience the region’s glaciers, wildlife, and indigenous culture up close.
Before beginning the Alaska season, MSC Poesia will reposition from Miami to Seattle on an 18-night cruise departing April 8, 2027. The journey will include a Panama Canal transit and several scenic coastal calls, providing a memorable prelude to the Alaska voyages.
