Holland America Opens Bookings for 2027–28 Asia Cruises

Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2027–2028 Asia season, unveiling an expanded lineup of itineraries featuring three new Japanese ports—Hitachinaka, Nagoya, and Maizuru—along with a new scenic cruising experience in Maizuru Bay.
The Noordam will sail throughout Asia from September 2027 to April 2028, exploring ports in Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The upcoming season features 15 distinct itineraries, ranging from 13 to 15 days, with overnight stays in six destinations: Halong Bay (Vietnam), Seoul (South Korea), Bangkok (Thailand), Manila (Philippines), Osaka (Japan), and Shanghai (China).
While many voyages depart from Tokyo, guests can also embark from Singapore, Hong Kong, or even Seattle, offering more flexibility and diverse route options across Asia’s most captivating destinations.
Travelers who book using the Have It All premium package will receive additional perks, including free prepaid crew appreciation, upgraded Elite Beverage Package, and Premium Wi-Fi. Members of the Mariner Society loyalty program will enjoy an early booking bonus with up to $400 in onboard credits per stateroom for reservations made by January 12, 2026.
“Asia offers guests a wealth of natural wonders and remarkable cultural landmarks,” said Robert de Bruin, Holland America Line’s director of deployment and itinerary planning. “We know our guests are eager for deeper exploration, so this season we’ve added new ports, increased calls to lesser-visited destinations, and provided extended stays in popular locales. These enhancements allow guests to fully experience the region’s diverse cultures and traditions.”
Onboard, travelers will be immersed in the flavors of Asia through Holland America Line’s Destination Dining program, which highlights authentic regional cuisine. Menu offerings include Japanese rockfish and sushi, Korean bibimbap, Thai mango sticky rice, Filipino chicken adobo, matcha lava cake, Indonesian coconut pancakes, and Vietnamese-style spring rolls.
Guests can also indulge in two exclusive dining experiences—Taste of Tamarind and Morimoto by Sea, the latter created in partnership with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.
With its new ports, extended itineraries, and culinary experiences, Holland America’s 2027–28 Asia season offers travelers a chance to explore the continent’s most culturally rich and scenic destinations with the comfort and sophistication the line is known for.
