United Airlines is set to broaden its international network for summer 2026, introducing new nonstop flights from the United States to four European destinations: Split in Croatia, Bari in Italy, Glasgow in Scotland, and Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

The expansion strengthens United’s position as the largest U.S. carrier across the Atlantic, adding fresh routes to lesser-served but increasingly popular destinations. These new flights will operate from Newark Liberty International Airport, offering American travelers more convenient access to Europe’s coastal cities and cultural hubs.

Each destination highlights a unique travel experience—from Split’s Adriatic charm and Bari’s southern Italian cuisine to Glasgow’s vibrant arts scene and Santiago de Compostela’s historic pilgrimage routes. The launch aligns with United’s continued focus on expanding its summer schedule and meeting growing transatlantic travel demand.

With these additions, United will serve 46 European cities, cementing its role as a leader in connecting North America to Europe’s most sought-after destinations.
