Explora Journeys Unveils Caribbean Voyage With Explorer Mike Horn
Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel brand of MSC Group, has announced a rare, immersive Caribbean experience aboard EXPLORA II — “A Journey of Caribbean Calm and Bahamian Blue.”
The 10-night voyage departs Miami on January 25, 2026, and returns February 4, 2026, calling at Puerto Plata, Kralendijk, Oranjestad, Willemstad, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the brand’s private island dedicated to marine preservation.
This exclusive sailing will be accompanied by world-renowned explorer and environmentalist Mike Horn, Explora Journeys’ Brand Ambassador. Known for his transformative expeditions in Greenland and the Canary Islands, Horn will join guests in Oranjestad for five days of “Ocean Dialogues” at sea — a series of engaging sessions exploring adventure, awareness, and ocean conservation.
The experience culminates at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, where travelers will visit the MSC Foundation’s Marine Conservation Center to learn about coral restoration, marine protection, and sustainability initiatives. Guests will also join Horn for guided explorations of the turquoise Bahamian waters, witnessing firsthand the importance of preserving fragile marine ecosystems.
Founded by the Aponte family, the MSC Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring harmony between people and nature through conservation, education, and humanitarian programs. As a member of its Advisory Board, Horn brings his expertise to support the Foundation’s environmental mission.
