Icon of the Seas to Homeport in Galveston for 2027–28 Season

Royal Caribbean is sending Icon of the Seas to Texas for the first time, with the record-breaking vessel set to homeport in Galveston for the 2027–28 season. Bookings for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members are now open, with general public reservations available starting November 13.

The full 2027–28 program includes voyages ranging from four to 12 nights aboard nine Royal Caribbean ships beginning April 2027. Alongside Icon of the Seas, both Liberty of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas will also sail from Galveston.

Additional deployments include Ovation of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas from Los Angeles; Oasis of the Seas, Odyssey of the Seas and Independence of the Seas from Cape Liberty, New Jersey; and Vision of the Seas from Baltimore.

Itineraries will take travelers to destinations such as Oranjestad, Aruba; Willemstad, Curaçao; Castries, St. Lucia; Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; as well as Portland, Maine; Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia; and Boston, Massachusetts. Sailings will also visit Royal Caribbean’s new beach destinations, including the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island opening in December 2025 and the Royal Beach Club Cozumel debuting in 2026.
