Revolut Partners With Booking.com to Launch Faster Travel Payments

Revolut has entered a new payments partnership with Booking.com, enabling travelers to pay for accommodations using Revolut Pay, the fintech’s one-click checkout solution. The collaboration is designed to streamline the booking process, enhance security and reward users through Revolut’s growing loyalty ecosystem.
“Given our customers’ passion for travel and the millions of users on Booking.com, this partnership is a natural fit,” said Alex Codina, general manager of acquiring at Revolut. He added that Revolut Pay offers a faster, more secure checkout experience thanks to the platform’s built-in biometric authentication.
When selecting Revolut Pay at checkout, travelers are redirected to the Revolut app to confirm payment. At launch, the option is available for accommodations, with plans to expand to flights and car rentals in the near future.
Users who pay with Revolut Pay will also earn RevPoints, Revolut’s pan-European debit loyalty rewards. These points can be redeemed at merchants that support Revolut Pay—including Booking.com—giving customers additional value with every purchase.
Booking.com views the partnership as part of its broader strategy to simplify travel transactions. “Introducing innovative new solutions to make transacting on our platform fast, secure and flexible is key,” said JC Rodriguez, senior director of commercial fintech. He noted Revolut’s strong traction across Europe made the partnership a natural extension of Booking.com’s payments strategy.
Revolut has been steadily expanding its travel footprint since launching Expedia-powered Stays in 2021 and adding vacation rentals in 2022. Earlier this year, the company also entered the AI travel space with its acquisition of Swifty, a travel assistant developed with input from Lufthansa Innovation Hub.
Booking.com and Revolut say they will continue exploring additional strategic opportunities as the partnership evolves.
