Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Parks Hospitality Holdings have officially opened the Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, marking the first Hyatt Place hotel in Quintana Roo and the sixth for the brand in Mexico. The new property offers convenient access to Cancun International Airport, nearby business districts and the Cancun Airport Maya Tren station, supported by the brand’s 24/7 complimentary airport shuttle and on-site parking.

Located just fifteen minutes from downtown Cancun, the hotel provides easy access to the city’s top attractions, dining, beaches and nightlife. The Hyatt Place Cancun Airport features an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, flexible work and lounge spaces and a total of 156 rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy free daily breakfast, a 24-hour market and The Placery, the hotel’s casual restaurant and bar.

General Manager Andrea Medina said the Hyatt Place brand is well positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers seeking a seamless, stress-free experience near the airport. She added that the team looks forward to connecting with guests and the local community while offering a comfortable base to relax, work and explore Cancun.

The opening comes ahead of two additional Hyatt Place hotels debuting in the region: Hyatt Place Merida/Via Montejo, set for later this month, and Hyatt Place Piedras Negras, scheduled for early 2026. World of Hyatt members can also earn 500 Bonus Points for stays at the new Cancun airport property between November 12, 2025 and February 28, 2026.
