Yatra Appoints Siddhartha Gupta as CEO, Dhruv Shringi Named Chairman

India-based Yatra has named CEO and co-founder Dhruv Shringi as chairman of the board, while appointing Siddhartha Gupta as the company’s new CEO, effective immediately.
In his new role, Shringi will help guide the online travel agency and corporate travel platform toward “expansion, innovation and shareholder value creation.” Shringi said Gupta brings the right experience to support Yatra’s B2B-first strategy.
“His depth of experience in enterprise sales and SaaS aligns perfectly with Yatra’s focus,” Shringi said. “With Siddhartha’s expertise, I am confident we will not only consolidate our leadership in India but also unlock new global growth opportunities.”
Gupta has previously held senior roles at SAP, HP and several SaaS ventures in India and abroad. He said his priorities as CEO will include accelerating growth, strengthening technology and enhancing service delivery.
“Together, we will scale Yatra to new heights, strengthen our international presence and continue setting benchmarks in managed business travel,” Gupta said.
Yatra has been expanding its corporate travel footprint in recent years. In September, the company acquired corporate travel specialist Globe All India Services for $15 million. Earlier this year, Yatra also launched “DIYA,” an AI-powered assistant designed to support travelers throughout the booking process.
