TLC Jet Acquires Privaira to Build Its Part 135 Charter Platform

Private jet charter broker TLC Jet has acquired FAA Part 135-certified operator Privaira (PVO, Fort Lauderdale Executive), gaining access to its charter and managed fleet as well as a new hangar at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Founder Justin Firestone told ch-aviation that the goal was to secure an operator that aligned with TLC Jet’s “special service philosophy,” adding that Privaira was an ideal cultural match. While the Privaira brand will remain for now, it will transition to TLC Jet throughout 2026 as the company consolidates under a single identity.

As of July, Privaira’s Part 135 certificate under Sky One Holdings, LLC included a Learjet 60XR, Challenger 604, Falcon 50, Falcon 2000LXS, Hawker 800XP and Hawker 800XPi. These aircraft will shift to a floating-base model, forming core inventory for TLC Jet’s on-demand charter business with priority access and instant pricing for clients.

TLC Jet plans to base Privaira’s fleet and maintenance operations at Fort Lauderdale Executive, where it intends to build a new hangar pending final regulatory approval. Aircraft relocation and hangar fit-out will begin immediately after closing, with full integration of systems, operations and branding targeted for summer 2026.

Firestone said the company will aggressively expand its managed fleet after integration, aiming to rank among the top 10 US operators by fleet size within three to five years. The strategy includes boosting in-house availability for super-midsize and large-cabin aircraft.

Launched in May, TLC Jet is backed by 313 Equity Partners, which this year acquired Toledo Jet Center—an FAA Part 145 repair station with facilities in Florida and Ohio. Privaira’s aircraft will use Toledo Jet Center for maintenance support.
