Hyatt Adds Asilia Africa Luxury Safaris to World of Hyatt

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that World of Hyatt members can now book 15 luxury safari experiences across East Africa through Hyatt’s booking channels, following the addition of Asilia Africa properties via Mr & Mrs Smith.
“Asilia has shaped what luxury safari travel looks like, blending thoughtful design, warm, genuine hospitality, and a deep love and respect for wild places,” said Laurie Blair, senior vice president of global marketing and loyalty at Hyatt. She added that affluent travelers are increasingly seeking journeys with meaningful and measurable impact, noting that Asilia’s model combines high-end safari experiences with long-term investment in local communities and ecosystems. Blair said Hyatt is pleased to connect World of Hyatt members to travel experiences that inspire adventure, reflection, and deeper connection, while enhancing loyalty rewards.
The newly available safari lodges and camps span iconic wildlife regions in Kenya and Tanzania, offering immersive experiences in conservation-focused settings. Featured properties include Dunia Camp in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, the first safari camp in East Africa operated entirely by women, known for its inclusive training programs and leadership development. Jabali Ridge in Ruaha National Park offers refined accommodations set among ancient granite boulders, while Namiri Plains delivers a renowned big-cat safari experience in the eastern Serengeti. The Highlands, located on the slopes of Olmoti Volcano within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, blends contemporary design with sweeping crater views, and Usangu Expedition Camp in Ruaha National Park provides an intimate, six-tent setting in remote miombo woodland. In Kenya, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp offers tented accommodations along the Ewaso Ngiro River with views toward Mount Kenya.
Marion Barrère, strategic development director at Mr & Mrs Smith, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and responsible travel. She highlighted Asilia’s certified B Corporation status and its focus on community partnerships and conservation initiatives, adding that the collaboration significantly expands the African safari portfolio for both Mr & Mrs Smith and World of Hyatt members, including access to new destinations such as Uganda.
