Rental Escapes Marks Landmark Growth Year in 2025

2025 proved to be a standout year for Rental Escapes, driven by a renewed commitment to the travel advisor community and significant investments across its portfolio, people, and technology. The luxury villa rental company recorded strong sales momentum alongside the addition of 300 new villas worldwide, a 30% expansion of its sales force, and a 40% increase in its guest experience team, reinforcing its focus on personalized service and advisor-led growth.
A major pillar of the company’s strategy in 2025 was strengthening relationships with travel advisors. Rental Escapes appointed Vonda Keeler as director of travel advisor partnerships, a role designed to deepen key relationships, support advisors more effectively, and accelerate long-term growth. The company also broadened its industry footprint by signing new agency and consortia partnerships during the year, including Virtuoso, further extending its reach within the luxury travel sector.
Rental Escapes continued to elevate its advisor support initiatives through enhancements to its Keys to Success program. A key milestone was the completion of the REimagine digital magazine collection, which now includes 20 interactive publications. These resources showcase the company’s most popular destinations and provide travel advisors with ready-to-use, client-facing tools designed to inspire travelers and simplify the sales process.
Portfolio expansion was another defining feature of 2025. The 300 newly added villas included the company’s first-ever properties in London and Kitzbühel, Austria, marking important entries into new luxury markets. Additional villas were introduced in high-demand destinations such as the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Italy, responding to sustained interest in premium villa stays. In the United States, Rental Escapes achieved the largest domestic portfolio expansion in its history, adding villas across several of the country’s most sought-after travel destinations.
To support this rapid growth, Rental Escapes invested heavily in its internal teams and infrastructure. Alongside the expansion of its villa sales and guest experience departments, the company also grew its IT team to enhance technology capabilities and strengthen operational support for both guests and travel advisors.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Brian Schwimmers said that scaling the internal team in parallel with the growing portfolio was essential to maintaining service standards. As demand for luxury villa rentals continues to rise, the company remains focused on delivering exceptional, highly personalized experiences for travel advisor partners and their clients, positioning Rental Escapes for continued growth beyond 2025.
