The Ospitalità Italiana designation is awarded to restaurants that uphold Italy’s culinary traditions, ingredient standards and service excellence. By earning the certification, Alfredo’s Pizzeria reinforces Princess Cruises’ commitment to delivering genuine Italian dining experiences at sea.

Alfredo’s Pizzeria has become a signature venue on the line’s newest ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, offering guests handcrafted, Neapolitan-style pizzas prepared to order. The restaurant emphasizes traditional techniques, hand-stretched dough and premium ingredients, reflecting the heritage of classic Italian pizzerias.

Princess Cruises partners with renowned chef Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion, to elevate its onboard pizza program. Gemignani has created five exclusive pizza recipes for the cruise line, available across its 17-ship fleet. The specialty pies feature inventive combinations of high-quality ingredients, including soppressata sausage with hot honey and gorgonzola paired with sweet fig preserves.
