Capital One Landing Opens at LaGuardia With Tapas

Capital One has officially opened its flagship Capital One Landing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, introducing a restaurant-style lounge concept centered on Spanish-inspired tapas and craft cocktails created in partnership with chef José Andrés and his team at José Andrés Group.
First announced three years ago, the Landing concept reimagines the traditional airport lounge by placing dining at the heart of the experience. Andrés, a James Beard Award winner and founder of World Central Kitchen, has overseen not only the menu but also service standards and staff training, bringing restaurant-level polish to the space.
Located in Terminal B on the bridge to gates 11 through 31, the 12,500-square-foot lounge features soaring 30-foot ceilings, abundant greenery and murals by New York–based artist Amrita Marino. A standout feature is the skylit terrace—formerly an outdoor patio—now enclosed for year-round use, offering sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and departing aircraft.
The menu focuses on elevated small plates designed for quick, made-to-order service. Dishes include chicken béchamel croquetas, confit piquillo peppers, gambas al ajillo and grilled hanger steak with mojo verde. Guests can also enjoy rotating offerings from roaming bar carts, such as caviar cones, Basque cheesecake and tableside martinis. Separate breakfast and lunch/dinner menus are available, alongside craft cocktails, mocktails, beer and wine.
Unlike traditional grab-and-go buffets, guests are greeted by a host and seated at tables, ordering via QR code or from a curated display of ready-to-eat tapas. The lounge also provides integrated power outlets at every seat, fast Wi-Fi, dedicated luggage storage and private restrooms.
LaGuardia’s Terminal B already houses the American Express Centurion Lounge and the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. However, Capital One Landing distinguishes itself with natural light, runway views and a fully service-driven dining model.
Access mirrors Capital One’s broader lounge program. Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders receive complimentary entry up to three hours before departure, with guest fees set at $45. Other eligible cardholders can purchase access at varying rates, and all visitors must present a same-day boarding pass.
Open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., the LaGuardia Landing represents Capital One’s latest move in an expanding airport lounge portfolio.
