Discover Airlines Adds Agadir and Fez Flights to Morocco

Discover Airlines is expanding its Morocco network for winter 2026/27 with two new direct routes, increasing its presence in the North African leisure market.

Starting at the end of October 2026, the German leisure carrier will launch twice-weekly flights from Frankfurt to Agadir and introduce a new once-weekly service from Munich to Fez. The Munich–Fez route will be the only nonstop connection between Bavaria and the historic Moroccan city.

The new seasonal services will operate through the end of March 2027. Frankfurt–Agadir flights will run on Mondays and Fridays, while Munich–Fez departures are scheduled for Sundays. Morning departures from Germany are timed for midday arrivals in Morocco, with evening returns back to Germany. Flight time is approximately four hours.

With the addition of Agadir and Fez, Discover Airlines will offer up to 16 weekly connections to three Moroccan destinations during the winter season. The airline already operates direct flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Marrakesh, a route it has served since 2022. Combined, Morocco will see up to 13 weekly flights to Marrakesh alone during peak winter demand.

The expansion follows growing demand for Morocco as a winter sun and cultural destination. Discover Airlines recently signed an agreement at ITB Berlin to expand its partnership with the Moroccan Tourist Office, reinforcing its strategic focus on the country.

Agadir, located in southern Morocco along the Atlantic coast, is known for its year-round mild climate, long sandy beaches and water sports offerings. The city also serves as a gateway to the Souss-Massa National Park and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Fez, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, is renowned for its UNESCO-listed historic medina, centuries-old architecture and traditional artisan markets spread across thousands of narrow alleyways.

Flights are now available for booking via Discover Airlines’ website, Lufthansa’s platform and through German tour operators and travel agencies, positioning the carrier for strong winter leisure demand to Morocco.
