A4A calls for meeting with DOT ahead of July 4th

US airlines continue to focus on providing a safe and reliable operation for passengers during a busy summer travel season. In a letter to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, A4A President and CEO Nicholas Calio said, “I wanted to reiterate and emphasize our members’ commitments to doing everything within their power to deliver a safe and on-time product not only over the holiday weekend but throughout the entire summer,” Calio also called for a meeting with the Federal Aviation Administration to ensure adequate staffing of air traffic controllers.
