A4A CEO: Air travel demand “getting better”

Airlines for America President and CEO Nick Calio appeared on Full Measure to discuss the recovery of air travel demand and road forward after two years in the pandemic. “The industry is still very fragile, but bookings are looking up. People want to fly. Leisure demand is back to about where it was in 2019, which is probably a little quicker than we expected it. International travel is picking up as restrictions are lifted, which is something we should be doing in the United States,” Calio stated.
