The New York Post Editorial Board cited A4A President and CEO Nicholas Calio in its editorial urging the White House to lift “nonsensical” pre-departure testing requirements for international travelers entering the US. “The only impact the pre-departure testing requirement is having is a chilling effect on an already fragile economy here in the US,” Calio said. The Editorial Board noted that international travel recovery continues to lag the return of domestic travel, which is having a significant impact on employment in cities that rely on foreign visitors.
