A4A CEO: US airlines continue to innovate, rely on science

“Throughout the COVID-19 health crisis, the US airline industry’s resilience and resolve have helped foster innovation and expand the industry’s use of science, research, and data,” Airlines for America President and CEO Nicholas Calio said in a Q&A with the US Chamber of Commerce. Calio highlighted how airlines have leveraged technologies to keep passengers and employees safe, such as mobile check-in kiosks and enhanced disinfection protocols.
