A4A president and CEO addresses summer flight operations

A4A President and CEO Nicholas E. Calio appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America: Weekend Edition to address reports of flight cancellations during the Father’s Day/Juneteenth holiday weekend. Several factors put pressure on the system including extreme weather and staffing issues in a wide range of positions. Calio explained, “Labor shortages are having an impact, because if there are delays or cancellations, flight crews time out because they can only be on the clock for so long.”
