One of the standout trends is the increasing popularity of expedition cruises. Travelers are showing a heightened interest in cruises that offer close encounters with nature and adventure, making destinations like the Arctic Circle, Antarctica, the Galápagos Islands, and the Northwest Passage more sought after than ever.

Another significant trend is the rise in solo cruising. More travelers are embarking on solo adventures, and cruise lines are adapting by offering more solo-friendly experiences, eliminating or reducing single supplements, and renovating ships to better accommodate solo travelers.

Additionally, AAA notes a trend in early bookings, with travelers securing their cruise vacations well in advance, sometimes more than a year ahead of time.
