The Ace Hotel Chicago will close this month following the sale of its building for $63 million, one of the highest per-key prices fetched by the city’s hotels during the pandemic slump. The buyer, Vancouver-based Onni Group, is said to be exploring restaurant groups’ interest in taking over the building’s food and beverage space.
