Advent purchase of GHL heralds ambitious expansion

Private equity firm Advent International has moved to further its third-party management expansion in Latin America by buying a majority stake in Bogota, Colombia-based GHL Hotels. Advent projects a doubling or tripling of GHL’s portfolio within five years, and GHL is already the largest third-party hotel operator in the Andean region and Central America with 62 hotels.
