Advocates: Migrants bused to D.C. getting insufficient help

A hotel that the District of Columbia has been using for COVID-19 isolation and quarantine of unhoused people is now also acting as a shelter for migrant families being bused to D.C. from Arizona and Texas, and advocates say the District is providing inadequate resources for the migrants. Meanwhile, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., has filed legislation that would supplement a Federal Emergency Management Agency program with $50 million to help migrants who are being bused into the District.
