Hotel development in Africa is at its strongest level ever, though the trend does not extend to Sub-Saharan nations. First-quarter data from W Hospitality Group show 42 of the 54 countries adding 447 hotels with approximately 80,300 rooms, led by Egypt, Morocco, Ethiopia, Cape Verde and Nigeria.
