Air Canada is rolling out a new service that allows business class passengers to choose dishes from a broad array of cuisines if they book their meal choice in advance, rather than just from the standard menu.

The service, called Air Canada Signature Selection, is available for business class passengers traveling on select international and North American routes. The service allows passengers to pre-order their preferred meal from a range of options, such as Asian, Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, and vegan dishes, up to 24 hours before departure.

Air Canada said that the service aims to enhance the customer experience and cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of its business class passengers. The service also complements the airline’s existing Air Canada Signature Service, which offers premium amenities and services such as priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling, access to airport lounges and concierge services, lie-flat seats, and premium wines and spirits.

“We are delighted to introduce Air Canada Signature Selection, a new service that allows our business class passengers to enjoy a wider variety of cuisines and dishes on board our flights. This service reflects our commitment to providing our customers with a superior travel experience and a personalized touch. We are confident that our customers will appreciate the flexibility and convenience of pre-ordering their preferred meal before their flight,” said Andrew Yiu, vice president of product at Air Canada.

Air Canada Signature Selection is available for business class passengers traveling on flights operated by Air Canada or Air Canada Rouge that offer Air Canada Signature Service. The service is currently available on select routes from Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary to destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Sydney, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Miami. The service will be gradually expanded to more routes in the future.
