Airbnb reports $1B-plus loss, bookings bounce for Q1

Airbnb Inc. reported more than $1 billion in losses for the first quarter but saw more than $10 billion in bookings as revenues climbed out of the pandemic. The deficit was mostly due to debt repayment and warrants by the company, which went public last December and aggressively raised funds to cope with the business slump.
