Airbus A380 completes SAF test flight

Airbus has completed two test flights using sustainable fuel made from cooking oil in a huge A380 aircraft. The manufacturer hopes its aircraft can be powered with 100% sustainable fuel by the end of the decade. “Increasing the use of SAF remains a key pathway to achieving the industry’s ambition of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said Airbus.
