AirJapan Launches New Narita-Incheon Route, Expanding Medium-Haul Offerings
AirJapan, a new airline brand under the umbrella of All Nippon Airlines (ANA) and a member of the Star Alliance, is set to launch a new service on the Narita-Incheon route. This service, connecting Tokyo Narita International Airport with Incheon International Airport in South Korea, is scheduled to begin on February 22, 2024.
This development marks AirJapan’s expansion into medium-haul international routes, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to providing innovative, thoughtful, and flexible travel experiences. The Narita-Incheon route represents a significant milestone for AirJapan, being its second route in Japan.
The introduction of this service is strategically important for AirJapan, as Incheon Airport serves as a convenient hub for connecting flights. There is an expectation of steady demand from passengers both departing from Japan and from overseas destinations throughout the year.
This route expansion aligns with AirJapan’s commitment to meeting the evolving preferences of global travelers, broadening the range of travel options available while maintaining the high standards of quality, service, and safety associated with the ANA Group.
Air Japan started as a charter airline based in Narita International Airport in Narita, Chiba, in Japan. It operates scheduled services under the ANA brand. It was announced on April 2, 2010 that Air Japan and ANA & JP Express will merge, with Air Japan being the surviving company.
