Airline execs: Bookings remain strong post-summer

Executives from airlines, including United Airlines, American Airlines and Air Canada, told Cowen’s annual transportation conference that consumer bookings have not slowed down, they expect business travel to pick up and operational challenges to diminish as the results of recent staffing boosts become evident. “It does not appear that summer has come to an end,” said Patrick Quayle, senior vice President at United Airlines, adding: “It’s that strong.”
