Airlines assist in evacuation efforts for Afghan refugees

Airlines continued to work with federal officials over the weekend to facilitate the arrival of Afghan refugees at Washington’s Dulles International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport. Crew members, including those from Delta Air Lines, have also invested their own money to give supplies, such as diapers, candy, balloons and coloring books, to families with children.
