Airlines celebrate National Aviation Maintenance Technician Day

Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines celebrated National Aviation Maintenance Technician Day on May 24 with interviews that share the personal stories of aircraft technicians and offer a view inside the hangar. Employees reminisced on servicing aircraft that flew the US president and the pope, as well as working alongside family members.
