Airlines commit to Pittsburgh airport modernization project

Airlines serving Pittsburgh International Airport have signed off on a seven-year lease that will help pay for a $1.4 billion terminal modernization project. Airport authority CEO Christina Cassotis said the agreement “is further proof of the airlines’ belief in the need for modernization, the strength of this market and their commitment to Pittsburgh.”
