Airlines inspire next generation of aviation pros at LAX

Employees from Atlas Air, Southwest and United joined an Aviation Careers Education (ACE) Academy event that Los Angeles World Airports held at LAX for more than 80 middle and high school students, letting them learn about aviation careers firsthand. “There is nothing more inspiring than seeing young people develop an affinity for aviation,” said Atlas Vice president of Government Affairs Camille Fleenor, adding that the event showcased “the many careers that make up aviation, including air cargo.”
