Airlines reported nearly 6K passenger incidents in 2021

Airlines reported nearly 6,000 cases of unruly passenger behavior in 2021, the Federal Aviation Administration reports, including about 4,290 face covering-related incidents. The FAA initiated investigations into 1,075 incidents in 2021, compared with an average of 136 investigations per year from 2016 through 2020.
