Airlines reroute flights around Afghanistan

United Airlines is among major international airlines rerouting flights away from the airspace over Afghanistan as that country succumbs to the Taliban, resulting in disrupted service in nearby countries. A United spokesperson said the airline would continue to work with local authorities to “determine how we continue service to markets impacted.”
