Airlines team up with Hawaii’s pre-clearance program

Hawaii is working with airlines, including Southwest, United, and Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines, to implement its Pre-Clear program, which allows travelers to easily verify they have met entry requirements and bypass the mandatory screening and quarantine requirements after arriving in the islands. To be pre-cleared for entry into Hawaii, each passenger must create a Safe Travels account and upload COVID-19 test data.
