Airstream hotel rooms capitalize on new wanderlust
The pandemic-driven popularity of outdoorsy accommodations has brought brisk business to an Ojai, Calif., venture deploying Airstream trailers as hotel rooms. Caravan Outpost, a mom-and-pop version of the Autocamp chain seen in many vacation destinations, charges $200 a night for lavishly appointed trailers and offers them for sale for $100,000 and up.
