Aisha Ibrahim named executive chef at Canlis in Seattle

Aisha Ibrahim will continue to infuse Asian cuisine into the menu of Seattle’s Canlis as the restaurant’s executive chef, the first woman to hold the position. Ibrahim was sous chef at Manresa, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Los Gatos, Calif., and most recently was preparing for her own fine-dining restaurant in Bangkok before the pandemic hit.
