Alaska Airlines: A Fresh Culinary Journey in the Skies
Alaska Airlines, renowned for its exceptional in-flight services, is elevating the travel experience with its latest menu rotation. Collaborating with Browne Family Vineyards from Walla Walla, Washington, the airline is introducing an exquisite selection of wines and gourmet dishes. Jessica Johnston, the Food and Beverage Manager at Alaska Airlines, emphasizes their commitment to keeping the menu fresh and varied for their frequent flyers, ensuring a unique culinary experience on each flight.
The partnership with Browne Family Vineyards, a prominent name since 2003 and the largest family-owned winery in Washington state, adds a touch of local flair to the menu. Passengers can indulge in two of Browne’s finest wines: a globally popular Chardonnay and a rich blend of Syrah and Merlot, a testament to the success of Washington’s viticulture.
The culinary delights don’t stop at the wines. The airline’s menu now features delectable new dishes, including a chicken entrée served with cilantro lime rice, accompanied by fried plantains and a flavorful jerk sauce. For health-conscious and vegan passengers, Alaska Airlines introduces Mediterranean lentils, a gluten-free option layered with cauliflower, marinated roasted grilled onions, and red peppers.
Pairing suggestions are also offered, with the jerk chicken recommended alongside the Chardonnay, and the Mediterranean lentils perfectly complemented by the red blend, ensuring a harmonious dining experience above the clouds.
Alaska Airlines’ commitment to freshness and quality, whether for business or leisure travel, reflects their dedication to making each journey memorable and satisfying for their guests.
