Alaska Airlines’ approach to the 737 Max

Pricing opportunity, aircraft retirements accelerated by the coronavirus epidemic and longtime support for a hometown manufacturer all factored into Alaska Airlines’ decision to order dozens of 737 Max aircraft. The first of the new planes made the short trip from Boeing Field to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Sunday.
