Alaska Airlines flyer documents trip commemorating Black history

Tash Haynes chronicled her family’s trip across the southern US with the purpose of strengthening her family’s connection to Black history for Alaska Airlines’ blog. “I learned so many valuable lessons from this trip,” she writes. “I got to experience a part of the country I have been nervous to explore. I understand things in a way that is so much clearer to me. I have pride in my heritage that could only be accomplished by walking the places and seeing the sites that brought us to this moment.”
