Alaska Airlines invests in carbon reduction tech

Alaska Airlines, working with investor UP.Partners, has launched Alaska Star Ventures to help the aviation industry and the airline reach carbon emissions reduction goals by funding technological advances. “We are seeking technologies that will accelerate our mission to build a more sustainable future for the aviation industry,” said Alaska head Ben Minicucci.
