Alaska Airlines teams with Boeing to test new technology

Alaska Airlines is partnering with Boeing to test new technologies on Alaska flights to improve fuel efficiency and boost sustainability. The test items include a more environmentally sound fire extinguishing agent, technology that measures greenhouse-gas levels in the atmosphere and carbon composite material that promises lighter cabin walls.
