Alaska Airlines to bar emotional support animals

Alaska Airlines will allow only trained service dogs to fly in passenger cabins, the first major airline to change its policy after the federal government adopted regulations in December allowing airlines to stop carrying “emotional support animals.” Delta Air Lines, which had already instituted restrictions on service animals, said it is considering new policies as well.
