Alaska Airlines welcomes future pilots at Aviation Day events

Alaska Airlines’ Aviation Day events — May 7 in Seattle and coming up May 21 in Portland, Ore. — gives people the chance to explore aviation careers, linking with Alaska’s efforts to boost hiring and diversity. The airline’s pilot development initiatives include a partnership with two historically Black colleges and universities and a partnership with Oregon’s Hillsboro Aero Academy.
